Haymarket offers a full complement of electronic prepress services, from digital proofs and film for all formats to computer generated plates to suite a wide range of printers. Haymarket pioneered electronic prepress on both PC and Mac in W.A. This wealth of expertise is legendary and it is not uncommon for Haymarket to print files (particularly from PC) that other companies have given up on in disgust.

So, needless to say, the Haymarket prepress team can output, impose and troubleshoot even the most difficult of documents.

PDF Workflow

Haymarket was one of the first to use a PDF (Postscript Document Format) workflow

Film Imagesetting

Film has not given way entirely to computer to plate (CTP) Haymarket still supplies film to a number of both trade and corporate clients.

Direct-to-Plate

Again, Haymarket was one of the first to make the leap from conventional printing to Computer-to-Plate (CTP) technology. Within 5 years of that conversion, up to 95 percent of work is Direct-to-Plate.

Imposition

Imposition software is used to prepare your multi page documents to be printed, folded and bound in the correct page order. We can impose from many packages on both platforms into the precise signatures required by our press or any press specified by you.
